It is this Jesus that gives us salvation. He has died for our sins, and bridged the gap between God and man. He lives in the Christian's heart, and gives peace and joy, and assurance of eternal life, through the presence of his Holy Spirit.
To accept Jesus into your life, you must admit that you are sinful, understand that Jesus died for those sins, and that you need to change.

How to Receive Jesus into your Life:
Admit that you are a sinner.
Be willing to turn away from your sins.
Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross and rose from the grave as God's only son.
Through prayer, invite Jesus Christ into your heart. Ask him to guide your life through the Holy Spirit.
Sample Prayer:
Dear Jesus,
I know that I am a sinner and that I need your forgiveness. I believe that you died for my sins. I want to turn from my sins. I now invite you to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow you as Lord and Savior.
In your name I pray. Amen.
